On Wednesday, October 27, 2021, Pope Saint John XXIII Seminary was blessed to have The Most Reverend Timothy Broglio, Archbishop of the Military Services, USA, preside over the Rite of Admission to Candidacy for Holy Orders for nine of our current seminarians. These seminarians have been approved by their respective Bishops and will continue in their studies to become Catholic priests. During the rite, each man publicly expressed his intention to embrace the formation process for Holy Orders and stated his resolve to fully invest himself to that end.
The nine men are Patrick Bruen, Archdiocese of Detroit; William Burns, Diocese of Orlando; Brian Delaney, Archdiocese of Boston; T. Gregory Dougherty, Diocese of Venice; John Ippolito, Archdiocese of New York; W. Patrick Long, Diocese of Venice; Clifton Mastran, Archdiocese of Washington, D.C.; Charles Tupta, Rock Hill Oratory; and John Paul Williams, Diocese of Springfield.
Please pray for these men, and all who are answering God’s call.
