Seminarians and faculty traveled to Washington DC recently where they partook in the activities of the March for Life between January 22nd and 24th, 2020. The Seminary's group met up with approximately 500,000 others to give witness to and pray for the sanctity of all human life from the moment of conception to natural death. The seminarians and faculty participated in the Opening Mass at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in DC. Additionally, PSJS hosted an hour of the overnight adoration to pray for the unborn as well as the mothers and families that are injured from abortion. Then, the group enthusiastically joined the 500k people to march from the National Mall to the Supreme Court and asked that the Abortion Laws that began with Roe v. Wade be overturned.
The annual participation of the Seminary in this January event is made possible by the Knights of Columbus, who, in their generosity, provide financial and prayerful support for the journey. We are privileged to have a handful of members who join us on the bus and give active witness to their faith and who support life. They are truly brothers in arms and we are grateful for their unwavering support.
