My career in education began in 1999 teaching English as a Second Language full-time to college and adult students. Many years later, a sustained interest in prayer and a wish to enter more deeply into the pursuit of God led me to consider a religious vocation. I spent three years (2012-2015) in formation with the Order of Preachers as a Dominican friar, studying philosophy and theology. The desire to serve as a priest kept growing through discernment and spiritual direction. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at a perpetual chapel was a great source of grace and inspiration. I eventually applied to the diocesan ministry, was accepted and now have the great opportunity to study for priesthood at PSJS.
