Class Year:
2021
Before I was accepted to Pope St. John XXIII Seminary, I had been teaching science for 31 years. I earned my B.S. in Geology and then while working on my M.S. in Education, I met my wife of 25 years. After her death in 2013, my plan was just to continue my ministry as a Permanent Deacon- I was ordained in 2004. By the grace of God, He changed my plans. With the promptings and encouragement of my pastor, spiritual director, and Bishop, and with a great deal of prayer, I discerned that the Lord was calling me to study for priesthood. PSJS was chosen as the right place for me as it had so much more to offer a man with my life experiences and background.
