I was born in The Dominican Republic in 1984 and am studying for the priesthood for the Diocese of Brooklyn, New York. In 2011 I received my degree in Philosophy from the Pontifical university Catholic Mother and Teacher in the Dominican Republic. During the past few years I taught Human and Religious Formation in the Dominican Republic and in 2016 I obtained my degree in Teaching Enablement. As a young boy about seven years of age, I remember going to Mass with my family. I was intrigued with the priest´s presence, his reverence and the love he displayed for Jesus Christ. It moved me and at that moment I felt something special that I did not understand. As a teenager I felt a deeper calling to the priesthood, however at times I also found myself wondering what it would be like to have my own family. After years of prayer and discernment I decided to follow Jesus Christ. I look forward to my formation here at PSJS and giving my life to the service of God and His people.
