Prior to arriving at PSJS, Michael was a reentry program case manager for men and women transitioning from the Federal Bureau of Prisons back into society. Michael has also served his country as a member of the armed forces, been a law enforcement officer and special/enforcement agent. Michael is a former member of a religious community and has now transitioned to candidacy for the diocesan priesthood.
“My recent work helping men and women transition back into society from prison was truly a solid ministry that was challenging, enriching, and rewarding. The Seminary is unique in that it specializes in building on the experiences and gifts that its students already possess. Further, the formation program brings out additional gifts and provides for new experiences that will be beneficial in the seminarian’s vocational journey. I am looking forward to resuming my formation here and continuing my journey to the priesthood.”
